She was predeceased by: her parents, George Earl Mallette and Geraldine Mallette; and her daughter Dawn Denae Thrash. She is survived by: her significant other Bruce Lane Posey; her children, Amber Hamilton (Jason) and Cade Posey (Samantha); her grandchildren, Tripp Lane Hamilton, Tinley Nicole Hamilton and Elli-Mae Kate Posey; her siblings, Melanie Mallette Sanderson and Chris Mallette; and her pet Jax.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral Home - Vancleave (4901 Jim Ramsay Rd, Vancleave, MS 39565). A memorial service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
