He was predeceased by: his sibling's children, Hunter McGreger and Lakyn Burt; his aunt Pat Ellis; and his grandparents, Gearldine, Odis McGreger and Truman Lancaster.
He is survived by: his parents, Carolyn McGreger and Sam McGreger of Vardaman, Mississippi.; his children, Tara, Sam Michael and Jackson McGreger; his brothers, Sammy McGreger (Nicole) and Johnny Brown; his nieces, Chloe Hardin (Michael), Chloe Burt and Caitlyn Morgan (Layton); and his grandmother Faye Lancaster. He is also survived by aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Vardaman First Baptist Church (302 N Main St, Vardaman, MS 38878). A graveside service was held on Sunday, September 21st 2025 at the Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to please be made to the Vardaman Athletics Booster Club.
