He is survived by: his children, Dana Helton (Dusty) of Vardaman, MS, Kaleye Melton of Bruce, MS and Charles Lee Melton of Derma, MS; and his brother Ricky Lynn Melton of Bruce, MS. He is also survived by seven grandchildren.
