He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Hood of Vardaman; his sons, Rob Hood of Eupora and David Hood (Rebecca) of Brandon; his stepdaughter Cindy Lynn Perkins (Bryan) of Walthall; his siblings, Jackie Hood of Ackerman, Jerry Hood (Donna) of Woodland, Jimmy Dale Hood of Water Valley, Boyd Hood of Eupora, Leon Hood (Maria) of Hernando, Sue Williams (Sonny) of Montevista and Lena Ward of Big Creek; and his grandchildren, Isiah Hood, Conner James Hood, Sawyer Mason Hood, Allison Nicole Perkins and Austin Perkins. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
