She was predeceased by: her parents, James Henderson Thomason, Jr. and Rosabel Purvis Thomason. She is survived by: her children, Kimberly Rose "Kim" Wade of Tupelo and John Smith Wade, Jr. of Blue Springs; her grandchildren, Callie Rose York of Baldwyn and Hunter Wade York of Princeton; and her close friend Carron Sheffield.
