She was predeceased by: her parents, Emmette Elwood Bell and Gertrude Davis Bell; her husband Fred Henry Wells Sr.; and her sisters, Frances Holtslander and Jewell Rook.

She is survived by: her children, Henry Wells (Gail), David Wells (Colleen), Robert Wells (Shelli) and Janice Brewer (Curtis); her brother John Elwood Bell (Joan); and her adoptive daughter Wanda Lott. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
