He is survived by: his wife Judy Holmes; his children, Joseph David Holmes (Marsha) of Gastonia, Kevin Douglas Holmes (Brandy) of Austin and Tanya Goodin Daugherty (Alan) of Boca Raton; and his grandchildren, Kaley Grace Ray (Logan) of Newnan, Georgia, Sarah Lindsey Goodin of Ocean Springs, Mississippi and Cumberland.
