It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Michael Nevels (Vicksburg, Mississippi), who passed away on January 28, 2024, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his father J. W. Nevels, Sr.; and his siblings, J. W. Nevels, Jr., Jimmie Dale Nevels, Jerry Nevels, Debra Wyatt and Lucinda Emrick.

He is survived by : his mother Bobbie Ship Nevels; his stepfather Leon Nevels; and his siblings, Larry Nevels, Richard "Dicky" Nevels, Elvin Nevels, Barbara Acuff (Jimmy), Peggy Cousins (Tommy), Angela Nevels and Cathy Hughes. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
