He is survived by: his wife Faye Loften Brewer; his children, Gerald Brewer, Jr. (Anita), Dustin Brewer (Sherri), Carmen Wallace, Telia Balthorp (Zach) and Janet Dixon; his siblings, George David Chappell and Shirley Roe; his aunt Polly Magee; and his grandchildren, Heather Gilliam (Daniel), Holly Johnson (Nick), Josh Brewer (Alexandra), Julie Hearn (Justin), Colton Brewer, Ella Brewer, Cory Wallace (Karla), Ashley McLellan (Ray), Megan Brewer, Bowden Balthrop and Brinley Balthrop. He is also survived by sixteen great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
