He is survived by: his children, Janet Jackson Hindman (Mitchell) of Hamilton, VA, John Beeland Jackson (Charlotte) of Baton Rouge, LA and Louise Jackson Dove (Mark) of Brandon, MS.; and his grandchildren, John Hindman (Sandy), Leslie Harris (Andrew), Emily Allen (Andy), Spencer Jackson (Alison), Eric Jackson, Elizabeth Obici (Ian), Stephen Jackson, Matthew Dove (Marielle), Libby Carruth (Kaleb) and Michelle Dove. He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
