We are sad to announce that on September 30, 2025, at the age of 61, James Leonard Wicker of Vicksburg, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though James may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murphy Wicker and Louise Wicker; and his brothers, Terry Wicker, Rusty Wicker and Danny Joe Wicker.
He is survived by: his brothers, Jerry Wicker (Florence), Michael Wicker (Stephanie) and David Wicker (Wanda); and his sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Wicker and Priscilla Wicker.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Highland Baptist Church (3518 Halls Ferry Rd, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
