With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janice Bishop (Vicksburg, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 27, 2026 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Mae Hancock and James Elwood "Ram Rod" Hancock; her grandparents, Addie Marion Worthy Pettway, Leroy Glenwood Pettway, Nettie Warnock and Samuel Hancock; and her nephew Timothy Hancock.
She is survived by: her husband Jim Bishop; her children, Jana Hancock and James Dusty Wipperling (Deidra); her former husband Craig Wipperling; her siblings, James Elwood Hancock (Carmen) and Jean Alice Hancock (James); her grandchildren, Madison Wade, Mayson Wade, Corbyn James Wipperling, Evelynn Grace Wipperling, Abigail Bishop and Chloe Bishop; her great grandchild Kameron Craig; and her nieces, Carley and Kayla Hancock.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The American Cancer Society or St. Dominic's Oncology Department.
