He was predeceased by : his parents, John Logan Given, Sr. and Mary Clyde Logue Given; his sisters, Emily Given Couch and Jeanette Given Ledbetter; and his grandson Jacob C. Bokros.

He is survived by : his children, Joseph Paul Given and Holly Marie Given Bokros (Shawn); his grandchildren, Mary Adeline Bokros, Brody Bokros, John Clyde Bokros and Brendan Bokros; and his siblings, Patrick Given (Kay Given) and Margaret Given Baylot (Robert Baylot).

Visitation was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM at the Fisher-Riles Funeral Home (5000 Indiana Ave, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the St. Michael Catholic Church (100 St Michael Pl, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 12th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Cedar Hill Cemetery (326 Lovers Ln, Vicksburg, MS 39183).
