He is survived by: his children, John Erwin, Sr., Paula Erwin Traxler, Susan Erwin Murrah and Brandy Erwin; and his siblings, Hattie Vines and Robert Richardson. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
