He is survived by: his sisters, Lady Jane Vowell (Yogi) of Huntsville, Judy Williams (Jerry) of Hixson and Dorothy Castle of Vicksburg, Mississippi.; his niece Lady Vowell Smith; his nephew Judd Alan Vowell; his great-niece Corinne Castle Smith; and his great-nephews, Duncan Smith, Gibson Smith and Charlie Vowell. He is also survived by friends, stepchildren and step-grandchildren.
