Lawran Elizabeth Richter Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Lawran Elizabeth Richter (Vicksburg, Mississippi), who passed away on May 10, 2026 at the age of 68. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Louise Bankston and Miller Bankston; and her brother-in-law Michael Richter. She is survived by: her husband Mark Richter; her children, Shannon Richter Stockett (Andrew) and Jeremy Richter; her grandchildren, Jacey, Mia, Sophia and Eli; her siblings, David Bankston (Beth) and Barbara Behrends (John); and her sister-in-law Judy Richter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, Lawran's family requests that donations be made to the Organ Fund at Crawford Street United Methodist Church.
