We bid farewell to Linda Rowland (Vicksburg, Mississippi), whose journey of life gracefully concluded on May 1, 2026 at the age of 79. Linda touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, James V. Hampton, Sr. and Mae Bell Morris Hampton; her brother James "Buddy" Hampton; and her brothers-in-law, Tommy Keen and Gordon Evans.
She is survived by: her children, Stephanie Patrick (Wade) and Shane Rowland (Brandy); her siblings, Larry Hampton (Pricilla), Patricia Keen, Sharon Evans and Jewel Dean McCain (Fred); her sister-in-law Dean Hampton; her grandchildren, Ashley Rowland Arriaga (Devin) and Reese Caroline Rowland; and her great grandchildren, Lucia Renee Arriaga and Cecilia Luis Arriaga. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society or Blair E. Batson Children's Hospital.
