He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Inman Hasty and Ada Lorraine Ward Hasty; his wife Karen Joyce Hasty; and his brothers, Plezy Leon Hasty, Mack Arthur Hasty and Roger Wayne Hasty.
He is survived by: his children, Christopher Michael Hasty (Noelle), Gregory Gene Hasty (Amanda) and Brandy Flatt (Jimmy); his siblings, Hugh Hasty, Harvey Hasty and Beverly Hefner; his grandchildren, Austin (Kayla), Hunter (Hannah), Katlin, Gracie, Jamy, Isabella, Conner, Ava and Noah; his great grandchildren, Layton, Paisley, Lane, Emmylou, Laramie and Maggie Grace; and his children, Amy Hearn and Jaye Carroll (Tiffany). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at the Cedar Hill Cemetery.
