She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Honea and Mildred Sherman Honea; her husband Charles Leon Delaney; her son Mike Delaney; and her brothers, Robert Honea and Sonny Honea.

She is survived by: her children, Charles Stan Delaney (Debbie) and Kim Kerley (Ace); her brother Vic Dickerson (Carol) of Brandon, MS; her grandchildren, Dillon Delaney, Whitney McCaskill (Mathew) and Cole Delaney (Bonnie); her great grandchildren, Hattie Delaney and Piper Lynn McCaskill; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Delaney; her nephew Steve Fortner; and her sister-in-law Erline Fortner.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that any donations be made to any local animal shelters.
