With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Louise Cupp (Vicksburg, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 6, 2025 at the age of 94. As we bid adieu to Mary's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in her wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Mary has bequeathed us. For though she may have departed from our sight, her spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clodies Joseph Bourgoyne and Lilly Mildred Albert Bourgoyne; and her siblings, Florene Randall and C. J. Bourgoyne. She is survived by: her daughters, Janie Ruth Hollowell (Thomas) and Mary Ann Lockhart; and her sisters, Shirley Soverns and Delores Jones. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Glenwood Funeral Home (145 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery (191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
