We are sad to announce that on March 13, 2024, at the age of 86, Mary Phyllis Cordes (Vicksburg, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, Morris Middleton and Bessie Mae Middleton; and her sisters, Eulalia Compton (James), Marjorie Rich (JG) and Elaine Bewley (Dean).
She is survived by : her husband Gordon Cordes; her children, Robin Lackey (Randy), Rhonda Harper (Gregg), Darla McVan (Donny) and Dale Cordes (Lyn); and her grandchildren, Jason Lackey (late Katie), Shannon Bates (Michael), Justin Harper (Brittany), Jacob Harper (Samantha), Jill Walters (Evan), Logan McVan and Grace Claire McCrary (Taylor). She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Phyllis Cordes honor to the Triumph Church Food Pantry, 136 Honeysuckle Lane, Vicksburg, MS.
