He is survived by: his wife Arneta "Nita" Stokes Brown Moon of Edwards, MS; his daughters, Lisa Mathis of Nashville, TN and Sheryl Kinard (Damien) of Starkville, MS; his siblings, Joy Ann Heard of Vadalia, LA and Jerry Joe Moon of Roxie, MS; and his grandchildren, Charles Mathis (Skeeter) of Nashville, TN, Christie Strong (Tristan) of Nashville, TN, Jodi Stubblefield (Erie) of Nashville, TN and Alisa McCormick of Nashville, TN. He is also survived by numerous other grandchildren, friends and cousins.
