With sadness, we share the passing of Pete Buford in Vicksburg, Mississippi. Pete, born on February 13, 1935, passed away on July 8, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, B. B. Buford and Ester Stewart Buford; and his siblings, Sis Hoben, Dadie Hughes, Tab Buford, Carter Buford, Buster Buford and Bobby Buford.
He is survived by: his significant other Ruby Buford; his children, Karen Galey, Tommy Buford (Lorie) and Ken Buford (Debbie); his brother Ram Buford; and his stepchildren, Patricia Giles, Holly Bokros (Shawn) and Richard Sanders. He is also survived by numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many lifelong friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Northside Baptist Church.
