He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert James Trussell, Jr. and Ida Merril Owens Trussell; and his sister Sylvia Sharp. He is survived by: his wife Lynda; his siblings, Mike (Deanne) and Linda Spalding; his children, Kelly, Travis and Angie; his grandchildren, Claire, Kathryn, Haley, Colin, Kristopher and Gavin; and his great grandchildren, Kylie, Hudson, Wyatt and Halston. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Bovina Baptist Church (5293 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
