He is survived by: his wife Betty Kowan McLeod; his children, Rhonda Michelle McLeod and Lynn McLeod; his grandsons, Logan Bishop (Sandy), Grady Bishop and Michael Clarke (Courtney); his great grandchildren, James Bishop, Vivian Bishop and Lucky Clarke of Vicksburg; and his brother Richard Emmett McLeod, III (Debbie) of Oakland, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the St. Alban's Episcopal Church (5930 Warriors Trail, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
