Stephen Peter Mantz Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Stephen Peter Mantz of Vicksburg, Mississippi, born in Syracuse, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 15, 2025 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid adieu to Stephen's earthly form, let us not dwell on the void left in his wake, but rather celebrate the legacy of love and inspiration Stephen has bequeathed us. For though he may have departed from our sight, his spirit remains a timeless beacon, guiding loved ones through the labyrinth of life's journey.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Mantz and Ida Mantz; his son Johnny Mantz; and his brother Allen Mantz. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Mantz; his children, Jeffrey Mantz of St. Augustine, FL, Julie Mantz (Kevin) of Florida, Angela West (Jon) of Conway, AR and Joshua Alberts of Vicksburg; and his siblings, Judy Mantz of Syracuse, NY and Bill Mantz of Syracuse, NY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In Stephen's memory his family requests donations be made to River City Kitty TNR at Guaranty Bank in his memory.
