We are sad to announce that, on April 26, 2026, at the age of 92, Vinia Broadwater (Vicksburg, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Benton Goodson and Ruby Lillie Slade Goodson; her former husband William L. Broadwater; her son William E. Broadwater; and her siblings, Willie Ray Goodson, Milton E. Goodson, Samuel B. Goodson, Ardelle Goodson, Myrtis Harrison, Mildred Schuetzle, Lillie Mae Sims and Juanita Thrasher.

She is survived by: her husband Leslie; and her brother Joseph A. Goodson (Vermelle). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
