It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of William H. Pinner of Vicksburg, Mississippi, who passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his daughter Beverly Ann Pinner; his parents, Clay Anderson Pinner and Delia Killeen Pinner; and his siblings, Catherine Graham, Clay, Edward, James and Raymond Pinner.
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Cardella Pinner; his daughters, Ivy "Penny" Carter (Virgil), Debbie Murin (Charlie), Natalie Kraly (Stan), Lori Sketoe, Mary Beth Reeves (Gary) and Joan Johnson (Andy); his grandchildren, Michael Hightower, Tiffany McCoy, Christopher Hightower (Jessica), Melissa Jacob (Rene), Matthew Hightower, Shawn Owen (Robbie), Daniel Murin (James), Jessica Reeves, Jared Reeves, Drew Johnson, Cody Sketoe (Monika), Kirsten McDaniel (Michal) and Sydney Sketoe (Michael Nguyen); his great grandchildren, Landon Murin, Nicholas, Christian, Delilah, Madeline Owen, Isabelle, Blakely Hightower, Lucy, Mia, Rock Jacob, Ava, Sophia and Scarlett Prunera; and his sister Sylvia Foil.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Fisher-Riles Funeral Home (5000 Indiana Ave, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A rosary will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Paul Catholic Church (713 Crawford St, Vicksburg, MS 39180). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 at 12:15 PM at the Greenlawn Gardens Cemetery (191 US-80, Vicksburg, MS 39180).
