With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Chris Stanley of Walnut, Mississippi, born in Selmer, Tennessee, who passed away on June 11, 2025 at the age of 42. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Chris leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Chris may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his brother B. J. Tennyson; and his grandparents, Maggie Lee Briggs, J. R. Lancaster, Dewitt and Evelyn Stanley.
He is survived by: his children, Bentley Stanley and Paityn Williams Stanley; his parents, Doug Stanley and Peggy Stanley; and his fiancée Misty Garvin. He is also survived by her children; a host of other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Magnolia Funeral Home - East (2024 US-72, Corinth, MS 38834). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
