He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wesley and Norma Gieger Russell, Sr.; his son Dennis Heath Russell; and his sister Barbara Ann Barnes of Walnut. He is survived by: his children, Chelsea Russell (Brandon Jacobs) of Memphis and Rodney Russell (Teri) of Memphis; his siblings, Donna Sue Perkins of Hernando, Rite Earlene Ferris of Louisiana and Jimmy Russell (Kara) of Memphis; and his grandchildren, Ava, Ella Jo Russell, Addison and Cameron Jacobs.
