He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Waldrop and Audrey Wammack Waldrop; his brother Grady (Deborah Waldrop); and his nephew Brian Waldrop. He is survived by: his wife Lola Skinner Waldrop; his sons, Josh Waldrop (Mandy) of Blue Mountain, Kyle Waldrop of Ashland and Ethan Waldrop (Beth) of Walnut; his brother Jerry Waldrop (Phyllis) of Lamar; his grandchildren, JJ, Brentley, Coleigh, Bethany, Lexi Waldrop, Chase and Kelsey Rodgers; Jim Wilbanks (Jenny) of Walnut.
