He was predeceased by: his parents, Ira Hervey and Everlina Hervey (Walton); his wife Ruby Lee Hervey (Caldwell); his children, Linda Morgan and David Hervey; and his granddaughter Katrina Barr.
He is survived by: his children, Ruby Barr, Charles Hervey, Willie Hervey, Theresa Hervey, Chris Hervey and Craig Baker; and his sister Gracie Mae Hervey. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren.
