He was predeceased by: his parents, Epsie James Adams (Major) and Ruth Mae Henderson Adams; his wife Kate Lynn Adams; and his brother Hubert Ray Adams. He is survived by: his children, Donna Woodard, Tracy Adams (Brenda), Curtis Adams (Aisha), Jennifer Adams, Cautina Campbell, Fitzgerald Campbell and James Armstrong (Ruby); and his sisters, Loretta Thomas and Jeanette Thomas. He is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, good friends.
