We are sad to announce that on January 8, 2026, at the age of 76, Jannette Womble of Water Valley, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Womble and Elnor Johnson Womble; and her sisters, Annette Womble Still and Fran Womble. She is survived by: her sister Patricia Oliphant of Mandeville; her nephews, Jay and Scott Oliphant; and her caregiver Jennifer Swinkowski. She is also survived by family, former students, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Seven Oaks Funeral Home (12760 Hwy 32, Water Valley, MS 38965). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
