It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Mallory Lewis of Water Valley, Mississippi, born in Batesville, Mississippi, who passed away on April 19, 2024, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, John See and Hazel Anderson Lewis; his wife Mary Ann Meurrier Lewis; and his son-in-law Don Larson. He is survived by : his children, John Mallory Lewis, Jr. (Jack) of Oakland, Allison Lewis Larson of Oxford and Amanda Lewis Wilder (Larry) of Batesville, Mississippi; his grandchildren, Barrett Larson (Steffi), Mallory Lewis, James Wilder (Breanna), Avery Larson Greenhalgh (Zach) and Anderson Wilder; his great grandchildren, Arden John Larson, Delta Kate Bingle, Tatum James Greenhalgh and John Courson Wilder; and his close friend Kim Pullen.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Seven Oaks Funeral Home (12760 Hwy 32, Water Valley, MS 38965). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 24th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Junior Auxiliary of Water Valley, Mississippi.
