He was predeceased by: his parents, Irma Kate Trusty Gafford and George Louis Gafford; and his grandfather Pop. He is survived by: his uncle Aubrey; his granddaughter Willa Kate; his wife Carol; his daughters, Rev. Angela Gafford Asmus (Joel Asmus) of Fishers, Rev. Amy Barron-Gafford (Greg) of Tucson and Arizona; his grandchildren, Evan Barron-Gafford, Isabella and Evelyn Asmus; his siblings, Ann McCullar and George Gafford (Happy); his siblings-in-law, Maybelle Rutherford (Earl) and Sammy (Becky); Bill.
