It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Zandra Morris Walker of Water Valley, Mississippi, who passed away on March 14, 2026, at the age of 70, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lina D. Morris and C. A. "Dude" Morris (George); her husband Dr. Joe W. Walker; her sister Brenda Smith; and her son Woody Walker.
She is survived by: her children, John W. Walker of Oxford, Mississippi, Justin Ward Walker of Rutland, Vermont, Mary Ann Griffin (Piet) of Greenville, Mississippi and Joe Walker (Jacqueline) of Rutland, Vermont.; her siblings, Betty Hart, Peggy Taylor of Water Valley, Jerry Morris of Water Valley and Ron Morris of Holly Lake, Texas; and her grandchildren, Anna Marie Green, Addison Walker, Thomas Griffin, Jessica Griffin Hawkins, Jacob Walker and Sam Walker. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
