It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Waymon Smith (Waveland, Mississippi), born in Pontotoc, Mississippi, who passed away on June 14, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his parents, Nora Mae Stewart Smith and Waymon A. Smith; and his sister Barbara Maples. He is survived by : his wife Debbie Shubert Smith; his children, James W. Smith (Alexandria), Dana Ware and Sunny Renae Smith; his sister Mary Gates (Johnny); his brother-in-law Fred Maples; and his grandchildren, Briar, Ivy, Willow Johnson, Lea Todd Ware and Daniel "D. J." Melton.
