She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Bill" Burgess and Mary Langley Burgess; her husband Willie H. Patterson; and her grandson Derek Cochran. She is survived by: her daughters, Teressa D. Wooten of Waynesboro, MS and Melinda S. Cochran (Woody) of Waynesboro, MS; her brother Donnie Burgess (Bonnie); and her grandchildren, Jared D. Hendry, Destin Colby Hendry (Elizabeth), Dexter Cochran, Deke Cochran (Hayley) and Dakota Touchstone. She is also survived by great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Boyles Chapel Cemetery. A burial will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at the same location.
