It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claudia Cooley of Waynesboro, Mississippi, who passed away on December 10, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. C. Skipper and Lucille Skipper; her husband George Ira Cooley, Sr.; her son George I. Cooley, Jr.; and her siblings, Malcolm Skipper and Mona Breese.
She is survived by: her son Michael Cooley (Patti) of Waynesboro, MS; her daughter-in-law Becky Cooley of Holly Springs, NC; her sister Shirley Arnold of Citronelle, AL; her grandchildren, Eric Cooley (Jen) of Peachtree City, GA, Jessye Smith (Matt) of Holly Springs, NC and Seth Cooley of Waynesboro, MS; and her great grandchildren, Matthew, Lauren, Ashley, Meghan and Maddison.
