He was predeceased by: his parents, Roan W. Sanderson and Lucille Sanderson; and his siblings, Alvin Troy Sanderson, W. R. Sanderson, Foye Sanderson, Rick Sanderson, Robert Sanderson, Minnie Reed and Faye Nell Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Sanderson; his children, Lonnie Sanderson (Amanda) and Gayla Sanderson of Waynesboro, MS; his grandchildren, Brantley Sanderson, Leah Warren (Matt), Dillan Rush and Dalton Rush; and his great grandchildren, Finleigh McInnis and Alleigh Kate Warren. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
