He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Hoover Knight, Sr. and Edna Earl Knight; and his siblings, Billy Knight, Sr., Dorothy Street and Debra Ann Knight.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Knight of Ellisville, MS and Maria Palmer (Johnnie Paul) of Waynesboro, MS. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
