It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janice Margarette Trigg (Waynesboro, Mississippi), who passed away on October 17, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband L. H. Trigg, Jr.; her parents, James Edward "Jimmie" Taylor and Lucy Maude Becton Taylor; her siblings, James Edward Taylor, Jr., Dennis Edward Taylor, Waynic Judson Taylor, Ellen Ruth Taylor Beard and Mabris Taylor Gardner of Virginia; her son-in-law Walter Ray NeCaise, Jr.; and her sister-in-law Gwen Trigg Powe.
She is survived by: her children, Leslie Trigg (Angela) of Brandon, MS and Tracy Trigg NeCaise Sparkman (Breland) of Cookeville, TN; her grandchildren, Calvin H. Trigg, Candice M. Trigg of Brandon, MS, Victoria E. NeCaise, Alex N. NeCaise of Cookeville, TN and Bryan T. Sparkman (Mary) of Sparta, TN; her great grandchildren, Scarlett Fulton of Cookeville, TN, Madison Sparkman and Gabriel Sparkman of Sparta, TN; her brother Gary Wayne Taylor (Sarah) of Quitman, MS; and her siblings-in-law, Donald Ray Beard of Spanish Fort, AL, Jessie "Teet" Gardner of Laurel, MS, Reginia Malone Taylor Roughton (Ray) of Montgomery, AL and Quida Trigg Tanner Sides (Bill) of Fairhope, AL..
As her Parkinson's Disease progressed, she left Waynesboro to be near her children, first by moving to Brandon, MS and later to Cookeville, TN.
