It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Davis (Waynesboro, Mississippi), born in Ellisville, Mississippi, who passed away on June 30, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Vester Cooksey and Dollie Rhoda Hester Morris; her significant other Davis; and her brother Larry Cooksey. She is survived by: her children, Tony Davis (JoAnn) of Hiwannee, MS, Cathy Maroney (David) of Hiwannee, MS, Lynn Noland (Bobby) of Sweet Water, AL and Martha DeSantis (Guy) of Frannie, WY; her siblings, Jerry Andrews (Carol Cooksey) of Theodore, AL, Janice McMahan of Pascagoula, MS and Judy Branning (Willie) of Maryville, TN; and her grandchildren, Keith Maroney, Brandy Smith, Brandy Turner, Randi Stewart, Matthew Burnett, Jeremy Noland, Robert Noland, Gregory Noland, Nyla DeSantis and Natasha DeSantis. She is also survived by 23 Great Grandchildren.
