He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Beard, Sr. and Helen Beard; his former wife Christene Beard; his daughter Anita Tyann Beard; and his siblings, Lloyd David Shirley, III and Melba West.
He is survived by: his wife Jessie Lois Beard of Clara, MS; his children, Karen Broadhead (Allen) of Demopolis, AL and LaDale Beard of Braxton, MS; his sister Inez Martin of Waynesboro, MS; and his grandchildren, Brandie Davis (Dustin), Alicia Brown (Robert) and Justin Beard.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Trinity First Baptist Church (520 Boyles Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 8th 2025 at the Trinity First Baptist Cemetery (520 Boyles Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367).
