She was predeceased by: her parents, Sim Davis and Vada Davis; her husband Calvin C. Harris; and her siblings, Carter Davis, Clifton Davis, Clyde Ray Davis, Edna Bell Gibson, Eva Corvino, Agnes Russell and Rebecca Brewer.
She is survived by: her children, Curtis Lassiter of State Line, MS, Shirley Jones of Valdosta, GA, Nancy Lassiter of Waynesboro, MS, Vickie Hopkins (David) of Williamstown, KY and Loree Lovell (Eddie) of Powder Springs, GA; and her brothers-in-law, Griffin Carter (Brenda) of Waynesboro, MS and William Ray Henderson of Waynesboro, MS. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; a host of great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM and on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Little Rock Assembly of God Church (17 Little Rock Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367). Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 7th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at the White House Cemetery (11 Davis Singleterry Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367).
