He was predeceased by: his parents, Ottis C. Henderson and Myrtle Henderson; his wife Brenda Carol Henderson; his children, Michael Henderson and Kimberly Henderson; and his grandsons, Clifford Goode and Colby Shirley.

He is survived by: his daughters, Deborah Henderson (Todd Holifield) of Piave, MS, Angie Shirley (Charles) of Waynesboro, MS, Cindy Finnell and Jazlyn Bunch Lee; his sister Pamela Singleton (Tommy) of State Line, MS; his grandchildren, Brandon Bunch, Kevin Goode, Michael Henderson, Matthew Henderson, Kimberly Breland, Christina Bunch and Dakota Shirley; and his stepgranddaughters, Jennifer Gray and Mandy Odom. He is also survived by 18 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great Great Grandchild.
