He was predeceased by: his parent Alysia C. Merritt; and his grandparents, Lee Smith, Jr., Curtis Porter and Joe Vines. He is survived by: his parent Aubrey Lee Smith, III; his sister Shelby Smith of Richton, MS; his stepsiblings, Braxton Crager of State Line, MS, Weston Garland of Yellow Pine, AL and Kendall Merritt of Richton, MS; his grandmothers, Mary E. Vines of Waynesboro, MS and Kathy Smith of Waynesboro, MS; and his aunts, Keri Smith, Tisha Schneider (Ken) and Lila Kelley (Chris).
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A graveside service was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Freeman Cemetery (5227 Watson Rd, Richton, MS 39476).
