Pitts, Ralph Pitts, Dorothy Nell Norton, Bonnie Yvonne Cooley and Edna Earl Odom; and his half-siblings, Charlie Pitts, Clarence Pitts, Ottis "Toby" Pitts, Homer "Jack" Pitts, K. C. Pitts, Howard Pitts, J. Willard Pitts and Verda Long.
He is survived by: his sons, Lynn Pitts (Lelia) of Shubuta, MS, John Pitts of Jackson, MS, Robin Pitts of Birmingham, AL and Ronald Pitts of Birmingham, AL; his siblings, Earl Pitts of Waynesboro, MS, Joyce Vinson Pitts of Mobile, AL, Mary Ann Lovelace of Waynesboro, MS and Bobbie Gail Williams of Waynesboro, MS; his grandchildren, Deidra Lynn Baylis (James "Bud") of Ellisville, MS, Robert Blake Pitts of Shubuta, MS and Parker Pitts of Birmingham, AL; and his great grandchildren, Cole Vaughn and Christian Baylis. He is also survived by four great-great grandchildren.
