He was predeceased by: his father Raymond E. Ward; and his brother Raymond Gene Ward. He is survived by: his mother Jean Ward of Waynesboro, MS; his daughters, Tonya Cross (Jay) of Waynesboro, MS and Brianna Ward of San Antonio, TX; his wife Kimberly Joyner of San Antonio, TX; his siblings, David Ward (Melissa) of Waynesboro, MS and Julie West (Jack) of Freeport, TX; and his grandchildren, Mary Cross, Aleighna Cross, Elizabeth Cross and Noah Cross.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Freeman Funeral Home Chapel (1305 Skyland Dr, Waynesboro, MS 39367). A burial will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at the Liberty Cemetery (485 Old Hwy 84 Rd, Waynesboro, MS 39367).
